An extraction adventure: head topside, find useful loot, manage threats, and make it back to Speranza.
Search ruins and forgotten corners for useful gear, crafting materials, and valuable loot. The longer you stay, the more you might find—and the more you risk.
Hostile ARC machines patrol the surface. Listen for danger, use cover, and think before you turn a quiet encounter into a fight.
Getting loot is only half the job. Reach an extraction point and escape with your haul—or risk losing the rewards of your run.
Choose a goal, collect what matters, and leave before the risk outweighs the reward.

The essentials in three steps. Expand any card for a little more guidance.
Get familiar with your equipment and objectives before heading topside. Start with a simple plan instead of trying to do everything at once.
Search locations for useful supplies while paying attention to your surroundings. You can choose to avoid risky encounters.
Find a way out with your collected items. Each run helps you learn the environment and make better decisions next time.
Quick reminders for any skill level—especially when a run starts going sideways.
Pick a destination and a rough exit plan. Wandering without a goal can waste supplies and leave you exposed.
Movement, gunfire, and machine activity can give away nearby threats. Slow down when the area feels suspiciously quiet.
You don't need to win every encounter. If your gear is low or your bag is full, extraction may be the smartest play.
Grab what you need. Trust your instincts. And when the surface starts feeling too dangerous, remember: the way out is part of the mission.

The PvE matchmaking toggle beta runs from 13–20 October. It lets players choose between the standard PvPvE experience and PvE servers. PvE servers disable player-to-player damage and reduce overall loot value. Some major map conditions are not available in PvE matchmaking.
Other changes include audio and animation fixes, improved stability and memory use, darker night lighting, UI improvements, quest fixes, and adjustments to ARC Frigate encounters.
Explore the new snowy map, Pendola Pass, and face new ARC enemies: Bully, Skulker, and Hydra. The update also brings the Bantam and Stiletto weapons, new equipment, amplified weapons, a revamped skill tree, the Outpost Research Bench, and 22 new quests.
